Soldier Flied 8000 Miles to Attend Funeral of His Father
Mrs. R. L. Murray and daughter, Mrs. Lillie May Murray Knight, of Wetsel community and Mrs. Athel Murray of Kansas City, were in town Monday and called at the Examiner office to place a card of thanks. Mrs. R. L. Murray told us that her son, M. Sgt. Murray, came home to attend the funeral of his father, R. L. Murray, A notice of his death appears in the Examiner today. Austin came by airplane from Guam Island, 8,000 miles, for the funeral.
