Brenda Hollandsworth and Larry Smith, both of Louisville, Ky., were united in marriage Jan. __ in Bethel Baptist Church, Celina. The Rev. J. T. Bledsoe, pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Hollandsworth of Celina. She graduated from Celina High School and Grand Canyon College, Phoenix, Ariz. She is employed by Jefferson County Child Protective Services, Louisville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heidt of Tulsa, Okla. He graduated from Moon Valley High School and Grand Canyon College, and is a student of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is employed by Humane Hospital University, of Louisville.
Maid of honor was Julie Krueger of Phoenix. Bridesmaids were Julia Shaul of Phoenix, Jan Jones of Grand Prairie and Janice Jackson of Celina.
Reggie Jackson of Celina served as ring bearer.
Jon Featherston of Phoenix attended the groom as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Greg Krugh of Phoenix, Tim Hollandsworth of McKinney and Udell Thompson of Dallas.
Candlelighters were David Jackson of Celina and Jason Sharp of Garland.
Wedding music was presented by Lynda Hollandsworth of McKinney, organist, and Andera Ford of Pilot Point, soloist.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall following the ceremony, with the bride’s parents as hosts.
Members of the houseparty included the soloist, along with Las Donna Carroll of Pilot Point, Dee McMillan of Denton, Margaret McNabb, Sharron Sharp and Jennifer Sharp of Dallas.
The couple will be at home in Louisville after a wedding trip to Dallas.
The groom’s parents were hosts for a rehearsal dinner on Jan. 3, at the Celina Community Center.
