AT HOME MR. AND MRS. OLLIE SPURGIN; FUNERAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
Mrs. Annie Leona Funderburgh, 79 year 9 months and 27 days old, native of Arkansas, died Thursday afternoon at 6:03 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Spurgin. She had been ill for the past two weeks. She was born April 18, 1858, her maiden name being Miss Leona Reed. She had lived in this state for forty-eight years. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Forest Grove, conducted by Rev. J. Ben Snider and Rev. A. H. Snider. Burial was in the Fitzhugh Cemetery with the Isaac Crouch Funeral Home of McKinney in charge.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Milt Scott, McKinney; Mrs. Ollie Spurgin of Forest Grove; Elmore Funderburg, Ponder, Texas; Ed Funderburgh, Murphy; John Funderburgh, Leonard; Will Funderburgh, Blair, Okla; Lewis Funderburgh, Longview; Jim Funderburgh, Route 2, McKinney and Cecil Funderburgh. Forty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren survive.
