MR., MRS. LOVE MARK ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Love, whose twentieth wedding anniversary was Sunday, observed the occasion Friday evening. Following the services at the East McKinney Christian Church Friday night the ladies of the church honored Mr. and Mrs. Love with a party in the church parlors. Mrs. Jim Russeall played Lohengrin’s wedding as the guest entered.
Tom Fennell, Jess Creason, Mrs. Joe Enloe were presented with a lovely 54 piece Swinnerton English China dinner set and numerous other lovely gifts.
Delicious refreshments were served during the evening.
A beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was on the large refreshment table which was covered with a white-linen cloth. Punch was also served.
Mr. and Mrs. Love were married July 14, 1926, by Rev. Ben Snider. Mrs. Love was Miss Beulah Hill before her marriage. She was reared by her grandparents, the late “Uncle Billy” and “Aunt Sallie” Scalf. Mr. Love is the son of Mrs. W. H. Love and the late Mr. Love.
