DENNARD
This is a 3-foot tall obelisk that reads: "children of C. S. and S. A.", who are Charles Sanford and Sarah Ann Young Dennard. Sarah Ann Young was a daughter of James L. and Emily Teel Young. The inscription reads: "A little flower of love, That blossomed but to die, Transplanted up above, To bloom with God on high." The sides of the stone have inscriptions for Beulah Emaline Dennard and James Newton Dennard. The obelisk is on the north end of the row for the Young family. The Dennards were married in Collin County on October 27, 1885.
BEULAH E. DENNARD – Beulah Emaline Dennard was a daughter of Charles Sanford and Sarah Ann Young Dennard, and a granddaughter of James Lawrence and Emily F. Young. She was also a sister of James N. Dennard. She was born and died in Stoneburg, Montague County, Texas, and was brought back to Collin County for burial. Her dates are: February 14, 1899, to March 5, 1899. She has an inscription on the north side of the obelisk, plus separate head and foot stones north of the obelisk
JAMES N. DENNARD[1] – James Newton Dennard was the first child of Charles Sanford and Sarah Ann Young Dennard, and a brother of Beulah E. Dennard. He was also a grandson of James L. and Emily F. Young. His stone reads: "born and died October 15, 1886." His inscription is on the south side of the obelisk with his head and foot stones south of the obelisk.
