Services for Charles Bennett Davis Sr., 44, of Celina, who died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Phillips Baptist Church in Celina with the Rev. Isiah Moore officiating. Burial will be in Old Towne Cemetery in Celina under the direction of Cantrell Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born on June 15, 1948, in Celina, the son of Melvin E. and Opal Dorothy Matts Davis. He married Cynthia Ann Harris on Feb. 28, 1975, in Celina. He was a certified chef from San Marcos Job Corp and was a Hood Grinder with Vent-A-Hood.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Ann Davis of Celina; one son, Charles Bennett Davis Jr. of Celina; two daughters, Michell Harrison and Meko Davis, both of Celina; his parents of Killeen; three brothers, Raymond E. Davis, Henry M. Davis and Larry Grant, all of Celina; two grandmothers, Clara Mae Netts of Celina and Edna Mae Brown of Eldorado, Kansas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Wake will be 7 tonight at the funeral home chapel.
