Newton M. Mott, 89, Dies at McKinney

McKinney - Funeral services for Newton M. Mott, 89, retired McKinney city employee, who died Friday afternoon at his home will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Crouch-Moore Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Mott was born Feb. 4, 1877, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Mott. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Herbert of Houston and Tom of McKinney; one daughter, Mrs. Loucille Miller of McKinney; one foster daughter, Mrs. Arthur Braggs of Valley Garden; two brothers, Ben and Lee Mott of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mrs. Leon Nelson of Bridgeport and Mrs. H. W. Phillips of Lubbock, and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Robert Hooks and the Rev. Edward Dowell will officiated with burial in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
