Mrs. Lillian Mae Browning of Melissa died in Collin Memorial Hospital, Sunday night. Funeral services will be at the Melissa Baptist Church, Rev. Clyde Boyd officiating with burial in Melissa Cemetery, directed by Crouch -Moore Funeral Home.

She was born December 29, 1889 in Texas the daughter of John Erwin and Emily Umphress Erwin. She was married December 25, 1905. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dewitt C. Browning, Melissa; four daughters, Miss Wilma Browning, Mrs. Mattie Hammonds, Melissa; Mrs. Velma Alexander, Princeton; Mrs. Elaine Dillon, Dallas; son, E. R. Browning, Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stephens, Mrs. Montie Taylor, Melissa, four brothers, Mike Erwin, Farmersville; Johnny Erwin, McKinney; Joe Erwin, Melissa; Leland Erwin, Durant, Okla., and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
