Thomas Holman
THOMAS HOLMAN
Letter.
A family member has an article that says that Thomas and Martha Holman were in Collin Co., Texas in 1868 at the time of Martha’s father’s death. (His name was Leroy Camden)....
Thomas B. (Benton) Holman born about 1841 in Ray County, Missouri with his wife Martha Angeline Camden (Colley) Holman. (she was married the first time to a Colley in Lawrence Co., MO.) Martha was born in 1839 in Coffee Co., Tenn. There should be a child Wilson Tiffin (m) born in 1868 in Missouri...
She had a child Priscilla by her previous marriage....
I can locate Thomas Holman in Cooke Co., Texas in 1880 with his family so I am trying to locate him in 1870... I cannot locate Thomas Benton Holman in the 1850 census in Ray Co., MO. nor in the 1860 census for Mo. However, I know he is getting a Divorce in 1860 in Ray Co., Mo. from his first wife Mary Gay and he did re-marry to the above mentioned Martha A. in 1868 in Mt. Vernon Lawrence Co., MO. Part of this information came off the Pension application Thomas fought in the Civil War. I just think there should be some record of his parents. He would be 9 years old in the 1850 census and him being born in Ray Co....
