J. H. EUBANKS PASSES AWAY AT CROWELL

Jim Henry Eubanks, 92, resident of Collin county since 1906, died Thursday night in Crowell at the home of a daughter. He farmed in the Parker-Murphy communities for many years and later operated a grocery business at Wylie before his retirement. He was of Presbyterian faith.
He was born June 28, 1874 in Polk County, Ark., the son of Frank and Ellen Bowen Eubanks, and was married in 1894 to George Ann Howard, to which union thirteen children were born. She died September 15, 1931. He married Mrs. Alice Cooper in 1945 who passed away in 1960. He was also preceded in death by two infants and a son, Jimmie Eubanks, who died in 1965.
Surviving are three sons, Nelse Eubanks, McKinney; Nolan Eubanks, Wylie and Bob Eubanks, Dallas; seven daughters, Mrs. Emma England, McKinney, Mrs. Sallie Durham, Sims; Mrs. Willie Martin, Wylie; Mrs. Georgia Durham, Crowell, Mrs. Mae Martin, Texarkana; Mrs. Estelle Boone, Dallas; Mrs. Ethel Hudson, Tehachapic, Calif; 43 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Tennie Cope of Van Alstyne and brother, Tom Eubanks of Odessa.
Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crouch-Moore Chapel with burial in the Murphy Cemetery.
