Funeral services for Annie Florence Grubbs, 83, of Garland who died Tuesday at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ben Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Grubbs was born December 7, 1902 in Princeton, the daughter of Doyal Bruce Salter and Emily Bell Salter.
She was a housewife and a member of Miller Road Baptist Church in Garland.
Survivors include two sons: Kenneth Grubbs of Van Alstyne and Meryl Dean Grubbs of Arlington; five daughters: Joyce Renfro, Geraldine Deskin, Lillian Waynell Pierce and Ouida Vivian Day all of Garland, Reba Yvonne Martin of Edgewood; one brother, Vernon Salter of Midlothian; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
