ROBERT A. FORTE TO BE BURIED HERE WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Robert Austin Forte, 48, of Garland and formerly of McKinney, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in McKinney.
Mr. Forte died in a plane crash about 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in New Mexico. He would have celebrated his 49th birthday Wednesday.
Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Dr. Ken Hay of Dallas will officiate. Harris-Horn Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Leo Crockett of McKinney, Dale Simpson of Dallas, Dr. George W. Apple of Plano, Jack Riddle of Farmington, N. Mex., Fuller Rogers of Houston and Gen. Fred G. Hook Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.
A highly-decorated soldier during World War II and the Korean War, Mr. Forte was the son of the late Mr. A. Q. Forte and Mrs. Myrtle Joplin Forte. He was born in McKinney on Dec. 22, 1916. He lived at 2400 S. Garland Rd. in Garland.
Mr. Forte was married to the former Miss Jean Marr in Bonham Feb. 21, 1942.
He was a graduate of Mckinney High School where he was active in the athletic program, and Texas Christian University where he played baseball.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, Robert A. Forte II of Norman, Okla., and Toby Forte of Garland; daughter, Mrs. Ralph Neely of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Calkins of Garland and Mrs. Rose Mary Lovell of McKinney; one niece, Mrs. Don Smith of Plano.
