Carroll, Milt
MILT CARROLL DIED FOLLOWING A LONG ILLNESS
Funeral Arrangements Have Not Been Announced
Newspaper, March 21, 1924.
Milt Carroll, about sixty years of age, a native of Collin county, died early Thursday morning at his home a few miles East of Melissa. He had been in bad health for several years, but his condition was not thought to be critical until a few days ago. Plans for the funeral and burial had not been announced early Wednesday afternoon and could not be learned until Mr. Largent of the Keller & Largent Undertaking Company returns from the home, where he went to make the funeral plans.
Mr. Carroll was a son of Mr. And Mrs. George Carroll, early settlers of Collin county. For the past fifty years, Mr. Carroll had lived on the same farm.
He had twice been married. He is survived by several children by his first wife. His second wife also survives.
It is probable the burial will be at the Chambliss cemetery, where parents of Mr. Carroll were laid to rest many years ago.
