Joel E. Burger, the pioneer automobile man of McKinney. Mr. Burger, is an expert mechanic, and employs experts to assist him. He has recently bought a brick building on North Tennessee street, 60 x 90 feet, which he will soon have remodeled and use it as a permanent home for his garage and oil business. He will have a cement floor put in and make the building practically fire proof. Mr. Burger also owns and operates a large and modern gin in this city; he also owns and operates one of the largest threshing outfits in Collin county. In addition to his extensive business interests, Mr. Burger is a home owner, having recently completed a fine two-story residence, with all modern conveniences, one of the prettiest homes in the city, and very conveniently located. In fact, Mr. Burger is one of our most progressive citizens, favors good roads and everything else that is progressive.
