Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie Gibson, 76, 501 Wolfe, McKinney, who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bible missionary Church, 1010 S. Chestnut, with Rev. Reuben Paul officiating. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery, Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors in charge.
She was born Aug. 28, 1905 in Collin County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel E. Brooks, and was a member of the Bible Missionary Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Betty Gibson of McKinney, Mrs. Beatrice Williams of Grapevine; one grandson; one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson; one brother, Coleman Brooks of California; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Ewing of Dallas, Mrs. Gene Ramos of California; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Missionary Church for Foreign Missions.
