NEW HOPE COUPLE RECENTLY MARRIED
New Hope, Oct 23– On Oct. 14, Mr. Alton Taylor and Miss Bessie Bates of the New Hope community went to Sherman and were married. This came as a great surprise to their many friends. Miss Bessie is the oldest child and the only girl of Mr. and Mrs. John Bates. Mr. Alton has won one of New Hope’s choicest flowers as Miss Bessie numbered her friends by her acquaintances, and Miss Bessie could not find a more worthy or nobler young man in the county and we predict a very happy future for them.
