ABERNATHY, HOMER L. FORMER PLANO MAN DIED IN DALLAS HOSP.

Mrs. Ed Jones of Plano received word last week of the death of her brother-in-law, Homer L. Abernathy, 82, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas Thursday.
His funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Restland Memorial park, where interment followed. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mr. Abernathy formerly lived in Plano, in which city he was married to Miss Josie Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Carter. They left here in 1900, moving to Dallas, where they had since resided. He was in the building and construction business.
Surviving are his wife; son, Homer D. Abernathy and brother, Bob Abernathy of Fort Worth.
