McAtee
While little Pearl the 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McAtee living 3 miles southwest of town was out where some of her little brothers and sisters older than herself were burning some grass last Wednesday evening her clothing caught fire and before assistance could be had she was so badly burned that she died that night. It was an awful sight to behold, she was a bright little girl. The family have the full sympathy of the entire community. She was buried at Forest Grove Saturday evening.
