FUNERAL SERVICES SATURDAY FOR JOHN W. BASSHAM

Funeral services are to be held at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Crouch-Moore Funeral Home for John Wesley , who died suddenly Wednesday at his home in the New Hope community. Rev. Earl Rogers and Rev. Mr. Morgan are to conduct the last rites and interment is to follow in the Johnson Cemetery with Secs Moore, Tom Myrick, Elbert Edwards, Mr. Lokey, Mr. Inman and J. C. Scott acting as pallbearers.
Mr. Bassham, aged 69, was born in Alabama, February 5, 1977, the son of J. C. and Mary Bassham. He had been a long time resident of this county.
Surviving the deceased besides the wife, Mrs. Cora Bassham, are the following children: Johnny Bassham of Fort Worth, Troy Bassham of McKinney, Roy and Paul Bassham of San Diego, Calif.; Fain Bassham and Mrs. Upa Fisher, both of Fort Worth; two brothers Bryant Bassham of McKinney route 5, James Bassham of Dallas, and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Craft of Melissa and nine grandchildren.
