McKinney-Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the North Park Baptist Church for Mrs. Roy V. , 58, of McKinney, who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital, after a short illness. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, west of McKinney, directed by Harris-Horn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Archer was born Nov. 13, 1903, in Collin County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Carrell. On Dec. 24, 1922, she married Roy V. Archer. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, James Archer of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert L. Hicks of Sherman and Mrs. Thomas Self of Arlington; five sisters, Mrs. J. L. Wood, of Austin, Mrs. W. G. Philips of Fort Worth, Mrs. G. W. Reneau of Dallas; Mrs. J. D. Amberson of Redlands, Calif., and Mrs. H. B. Thompson of Santa Monica. Calif.
