FORMER BETHANY RESIDENT DIES AFTER OPERATION
News has been received by relatives in this city of the death of Frank Elkin of Midland, Texas, who died in a sanitarium in Temple following an operation. He lived in the Bethany community for many years and has numerous friends and relatives still residing in this county. He was 75 years of age at the time of his death. He was a life-long member of the Christian church.
The deceased is survived by two sons and daughters, as follows: Woody, Will and Frank Elkin; Mrs. Chas. Ebersol and Mrs. Jack Baird. He was an uncle of the late L. W. Bush and also of W. H. Bush of Greenville. Interment took place at Temple Saturday.
