In our announcement column today appears the name of E. T. Fant for tax collector of Collin county subject to the action of the democratic primary. Mr. Fant is a native of Mississippi but has been a resident of McKinney for a number of years. For several years he has devoted his attention to the insurance business which has brought him in contact with the people throughout the county. As a result he is widely acquainted. His agreeable disposition and genial, happy turn has surrounded him with a personal following of which any man may well be proud. He is a vigorous specimen of robust young manhood with all the business attainments and qualification necessary to fill the position to the best interests of the people he serves....
