WILLIE DUER DIES AT HOME IN ANNA

Willie Duer, of Anna passed away Thursday Aug. 25, at his home in Anna. He was 56 years old at the time of his death and was born in Oklahoma Feb.20,1904. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephram Duer. He was married to Miss Jessie Salmon Oct. 15,1927, who survives him.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in McKinney with the Rev. Earl Rogers officiating. Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne was in charge of the service.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mary Madell Deur [sic] of Anna, three sons, David Duer of Sherman, Earl Duer of McKinney, Joe Duer of Melissa, five grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Janie James, Mrs. Mae Reynolds, Mrs. Irene Dills, of Durant, Okla., and Mrs. Ada Packer of Little Rock, Ark., one brother, Bud Deur [sic] of Houston.
Interment was in the Pecan Grove Cemetery.
