Funeral services for William Buford Crank, 74, of McKinney, who died Saturday at his residence, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery with Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home in charge of services.
Crank was born Oct. 9, 1912 in Collin County, the son of the late Hubert Lee Crank and Myra Brasher Crank, and married Hester Irlena Trotter on Oct. 4, 1951 in Durant Okla.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving Signal Corps Key 5, and worked for the V. A. Hospital before retirement.
Survivors include his wife Hester of McKinney, two daughters Mrs. Pamela Simmons and Mrs. Janet Romguist, both of McKinney; two brothers, Allison Crank of Allen and Claude Crank of Telephone, Tx.; and three sisters; Evelyn Trapper of Sherman, Vera Rouse of Texarkana, and Ethel Bomar of McKinney; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
