Services for Alton Mack, 75, of McKinney are set for Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Free Will Baptist Church in McKinney with Pastor Franklin D. Wilson, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeview memorial Park. Memorial service will be held at 7 tonight at Mt. Pilgrim Free Will Baptist Church. Mack died Saturday at Columbia Medical Center McKinney. He was born Jan. 16, 1922 in McKinney to Jim Mack and Arneca Timmons. He married Edna Lindsey on Feb. 5, 1944 in Riverside, California. He worked in the construction industry as a carpenter. Mack was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. Survivors include his wife, Edna Mack; a daughter Barbara Mack Russell; a son, Alton Eugene Mack; six grandchildren, Sonja Mitchell, Tonya Burns, Reginald Russell, Ronnie Russell, Rona Athey and Alton E. Mack II, four great-grandchildren, Hunter Athey, Jordon Athey, Isaiah Mack and Aaron Lee Jackson and two sisters, Ruth Norris and Levora Templeton. Arrangements are under the direction of Belew Funeral Home in McKinney. |

Funeral services for John Cecil Mack, 55, will be held 1 p.m. Friday in Freewill Baptist Church Rev. Leonard Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Ross Cemetery, Reed Funeral Home in charge. He was born June 12, 1927 in Collin County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mack. Survivors include one son, Cecil Mack of Dallas; four grandchildren; three brothers, Alton and Oline Mack of McKinney, Odell Mack of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Ruth Norris of McKinney, Levora Templeton of Dallas; an uncle, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death. |
