REV. DR. BROCKMAN DEAD.
DECEASED IN EARLY WAS SAM JONES’ FIRST TEACHER

Farmersville, Tex., Dec. 19 – Dr. J. L. Brockman, an aged and much respected Methodist minister, passed away in Farmersville at 9 o’clock a.m., the 14th inst., and was buried with Masonic honors near Nevada the 15th inst. In his early days in Georgia he was Sam Jones’ first school teacher.
