Funeral services for Bertie , 76, of McKinney who died Tuesday at HCA Wysong Medical Center will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery
Boren was born July 31, 1910 in Cumby, the daughter of Lucion Goggars and Josephine A. Parker Goggars.
She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Boren of McKinney; one daughter, Camille Evans of Houston; one sister, Jewel Cloyd of McKinney; three grandchildren; Laura Camille, Leigh Anne and Sarah Elizabeth Evans all of Houston.
