MRS. HOWARD PASSES AWAY IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Sallie Howard, 82, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Wysong Kentucky Street.
A native of Texas she was born Feb. 1, 1886, the daughter of Tom Phillips and Fanny Lynn Phillips. She was a member of the North Baptist Church.
Surviving are seven daughters: Mrs. C. W. Geer, Mrs. Riley Bales, Mrs. Gus Hudson and Mrs. Ray Hurst, all of McKinney; Mrs. Lowell Bryson of Allen; Mrs. Rachel Barrow of Frisco and Mrs. Nathan Smith of Princeton; three sons, Grady Howard of Andrews; Lacy Howard, McKinney; Harold Howard, Dallas; 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Clint Phillips of McKinney and sister, Mrs. Julia Patterson of McKinney, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the North Baptist Church, Revs. S. D. Lindsey and Gene Laird officiating, with interment in Scott Cemetery. Crouch-Moore Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are: Bailey Dickerson, DeWitt Luscomb, Robert Simmons, Oscar Jones, Grady Mills and Willie Bryson.
