Dublin - between Plano and Murphy near Dublin Road
ON THE WING
(McKinney) Daily Courier Gazette, January 22, 1912
Dublin.
Mrs. L. C. Stroud came from Lincoln county, Tennessee, fourteen years ago. Lives with her son who owns a good farm. A dollar will enable her to read a mighty good paper, the Democrat-Gazette.
J. M. Back is a Kentuckian, but we didn't venture to ask if he hailed from Breathitt county. We presume however, that he can distinguish the genuine from the spurious. He placed a dollar in the circulation and the Democrat-Gazette is going to do some circulation itself.
Within two mile east of Plano, we met J. B. Boggess who is a warm personal friend of Senator Perkins. he owns a fine farm with first-class improvements and not for sale at any price. His father, J. Boggess, settled on a farm adjoining that of his son, in 1867. He subscribed for the Democrat-Gazette for which we thank him.
