Funeral services for Mr. Ben Grier 85 of McKinney who died Friday at North Texas Medical Center will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel with Reverend R. B. Ring officiating. Interment will be held at Pecan Grove Cemetery with Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home in charge.
He was born July 28, 1899 in Texas, the son of the late Johnson Grier and Dora Alice Cabenhead Grier and married Lois Hicks in September of 1980. He was a retired sexton of Pecan Grove Cemetery and a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife Lois, one son James Grier of Trenton, one daughter Betty Gunnels of Dallas, one brother Ervin Grier of Waco and two sisters Inez Jones of Eddy, Texas and Laura Fitzpatrick of Florida, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
