Graveside services for Thelma , 84, of McKinney are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Ron Hat__oat officiating. Visitation is set for 7 to 8 p.m. tonight.
Alder died Tuesday at McKinney Healthcare in McKinney. She was born March 3, 1913, in Gatesville, to E. W. Pollard and Margaret Rutherford Pollard. She married Walton Alder in December 1935 in Farmersville. Alder was a retired bookkeeper for Texas Instruments and a member of North Richland Hills Methodist Church. She was....[missing]
(Pete) Alder of New Jersey; a grandson, Bryan Alder of Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, Sally Stocklinski of New Jersey; two brothers, Ed Pollard of Emory, and Jim Pollard of San Diego, California; four sisters, Geneva Cashon of Prosper, Sadie Spencer of Plano, Edelaine Sanders of Meridian, and Jo Ann Pollard of Farmer’s Branch; and four great-grandchildren.
