Funeral services for Leonora , 84 of McKinney who died Tuesday at North Texas Medical Center following a lengthy illness were held at 11 a.m. today in the First United Methodist of Levelland with Revs. Lee Weldon Stephenson and Rusty Pickerson officiating. Interment was in the City of Levelland Cemetery with George C. Price Funeral Directors in charge.
Barton was born July 6, 1902 in Texas, and married A. A. Barton, May 18, 1926 in Brownwood.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Levelland and a member of the World War I Widows Organization in Levelland.
Survivors include: one son, Jim A. Barton of McKinney and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband A. A. Barton.
Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Levelland and the American Heart Association.
