Funeral services for W. P. (Mack) McWilliams, 83, of Mesquite, formerly of Princeton, who died Wednesday at Doctor's Hospital in Dallas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services.
McWilliams was born Feb. 17, 1903 in Collin County, the son of Sam McWilliams and Sadie Gordon, and married Lena Short, Dec. 25, 1923 in Allen.
He was a service attendant for Bullock Motors. McWilliams was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Lena, of Mesquite; son, Sam McWilliams of Calif.; daughter, Betty Higginbotham of Mesquite; sister Maida Hickman of Farmersviille; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
