OBSEQUIES FOR ROY C. KNOX ARE HELD HERE ON FRIDAY

Services for Roy Clayton Knox, 58, McKinney car dealer, were held at 3 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Dr. Charles E. Myers, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Pecan Grove Cemetery, directed by Turrentine-Jackson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: George McCarley Jones, H. B. Thompson, Lovejoy Comegys, Melvin Gotcher and Clyde Robinson of Melissa.
He was a native of Collin County, born April 13, 1900 in Melissa, the son of E. O. and Eula Lee Vaughn Knox. He was married to Miss Faye McCollum in 1920. He died Thursday morning in the Collin Memorial Hospital following a heart attack, suffered at his place of business.
Surviving are his wife, two grandchildren, Mike and Eleanor Knox, and four brothers, Theo and Joe Knox, all of McKinney; Tom Knox of Dallas, Jack Knox of Garland and one sister, Mrs. Mallow Graves, of Dallas.
