PIONEER COLLIN RESIDENT DIES AT HOME HERE

Mrs. Amanda Brown died at her home, 2 miles east of McKinney where she had resided for 70 years, at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
She was born Feb. 2, 1853 and was the wife of W. D. Brown who passed away 25 years ago.
Funeral services conducted by Dr. C. S. Weaver will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Crouch-Moore funeral Home and interment will be made at Wilson Chapel with Crouch-Moore in charge.
The granddaughters and granddaughters-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
Surviving are the following children: Dave Brown, Altadena, Cal.; Mrs. Tom Lewis of McKinney; Mrs. John (Lula) Bates, Route 2, McKinney; ? of Calera, Okla., and Jesse Brown, Route 2, McKinney; and a brother, W. H. Kindle, McKinney. 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren also survive....
