Funeral services for Mildred Elizabeth Coffey, 85, of McKinney, who died Monday at her residence, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mark Randall officiating. Interment was to follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 15, 1903 in McKinney, the daughter of Robert A. and Katie McEntire Joplin. She was retired from Baylor Hospital and was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Joplin of Dallas; three sisters, Lucy Staples and Mrs. R. A. Cunningham, both of McKinney, and Polly Mann of Dallas; three nephews, Bobby Mann, Robert Charles Joplin, Bill Joplin Cunningham; two nieces, Kate Tom Lehrer, Jo Gayle Dillon; and a number of great-nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess W. Coffey.
