For Dee , 78, of McKinney, teaching Sunday School to young boys is easy. To him, it is only a temporary job – one he has done for about 60 years.
Although he was born and reared in Sherman, Bradford calls McKinney his home because he enjoys the people and especially the children he teaches.
He began teaching Sunday school in Sherman about 60 years ago and when he moved to McKinney in 1967 he began teaching at King Memorial Baptist Church on S.H. 5.
Although he only achieved a seventh-grade education, Bradford began teaching Sunday school when he was 17 years old....
Aside from teaching Sunday school Bradford and his wife of 59 years, Lena Faye, make candy in their residence on Bradley Street, to sell in their spare time.
