COPE, JAMES
COPE, JAMES M.
Letter.
Some early probate records in Collin County shows a name of M. W. Cope and James M. Cope who could easily be “Miles” Cope, my great-grandfather. The old records from 1859 thru 1884 show the following Brummetts who could also be ancestors:
Harrison Brummett; P. Brummett; William H.; H. Brummett; J. A. (who could be Jack Brummett); W. H. Brummett; L. V and P. Brummett; and A. J. Brummett whom I feel certain must be Andrew Jackson. I am going to get copies of these records to see if any names correspond to my family names....
