Mrs. Mary Ferguson, 80, one of the oldest citizens of Bells, in Grayson County, and wife of N. C. Ferguson, died at her home in South Bells, where she had lived for thirty-seven years. The couple celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary on March 23. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bells Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ferguson was born in Meggs County in East Tennessee on April 17, 1857, and was married in 1877 in that State, coming to Texas and Bells in 1888. [rest missing]
