McKinney — Services for Granville Lawrence Johnson, 68-year-old McKinney resident who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James CME Church.
The Rev. C. E. Hill will officiate and burial will be in Ross Cemetery under the direction of Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnson was born in McKinney, the son of Lewis and Alice Barnett Johnson.
A retired employee of Aristocrat Liquor Company, he was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of St. James CME Church.
Surviving are sons, Willie Johnson, Dewayne Johnson and Charles Johnson, all of McKinney, Jeffery Johnson of Denver, Colo., and Billy Frank Johnson of Plano; daughters, Alice Johnson of Dallas and Donna Meadows and Gladys Banks, both of Denver; mother, Alice Johnson of McKinney; and several grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
