JOE DEE SHAUN LOFTICE
Newspaper. Funeral services for Joe Dee Shaun Loftice, 13, of McKinney who died Sunday at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. J. T. Bledsoe officiating. Interment will be in Cottage Hill Cemetery. Loftice was born Oct. 2, 1972 in Dallas, the son of William Neal Loftice and Diann Cawthon Loftice. Survivors include his mother, Diann Loftice Barker of McKinney; stepfather, Don Barker of McKinney; three brothers: Billy Loftice of Princeton, Ron and Jasen Loftice both of McKinney; two sisters: Lisa Murphy of Culleoka, Artie Stone of Princeton; grandmothers: Jean Cawthon of McKinney, Leah Loftice of Celina; three uncles; Joe Cawthon of Blue Ridge, Lester Loftice of Ladonia, J. P. Loftice of Celina; eight aunts: Debbie Daponte of Calif., Opal Wright, Nina Carlock, and Larie Bledsoe all of McKinney, Lou (Poppy) Hudson of Culleoka, Roberta Fife, Ruth Lagrone both of Celina, Winona Dees of Denton; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The family has requested that any memorials be sent to the Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital. |
MRS. R. L. LOFTICE, OF MELISSA, DIES FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Newspaper, 1947. Mrs. Emma Francis Loftice, 36 years, died Friday afternoon at 3:55 o’clock at the City-County Hospital following an illness of several months. A resident of Melissa, she was born May 31, 1916, in Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Erwin. Her survivors include her husband, R. L. Loftice, Melissa; Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. T Erwin, near Melissa; one daughter, Billie Nell; and two sons, Frankie and Johnnie Loftice, at home; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Ho___, Dallas; and Mrs. F. G. Mason, New York. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Melissa Baptist Church, with Rev. S. D. Lindsey and Rev. Guy Alexander, as officiating ministers. Burial will follow in Melissa cemetery, with Crouch-Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Dewitt Luscombe, Monroe Slaughter, Herbert Shellnut, Jesse Scribner, C. E. Rose, and Everett McCully. The body of Mrs. Loftice will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 o’clock Sunday. |
