LEONARD – Johnnie Clarence Greenwood of Leonard, 75 year-old retired service station attendant and Whitewright school custodian, died Sunday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Taylor Funeral Chapel. Don Stidham of Trenton Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Mr. Greenwood was born near Celeste, a son of Arthur Wilson and Martha Alice Moore Greenwood, and married Vergie Raper on Aug. 21, 1940 in Durant, Okla.
He was a member of the Leonard Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Glenda Fennell of Rowlett and Judy Davis of Leonard; sisters, Mrs. Pernia Paris of Wolfe City and Mrs. Lorena Kuhn of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Reuben Greenwood of Wolfe City and Joe Greenwood of Whitewright; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
