Funeral services for Joe Melton , 49, of McKinney who died Saturday in a Dallas hospital will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. W. T. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services.
He was born June 28, 1937 in McKinney, the son of Ernest and Lora Smith Beaver.
Beaver was a bottler for Coca-Cola Bottling company and a member of the Protestant faith. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Survivors include two sons: William and Ernest Beaver both of McKinney; one daughter, Kathy Sherr of Greenville; one brother, Ernest F. Beaver of McKinney; three sisters: Dorothy Willingham of Alvin, Irene House of Richardson, Betty Gray of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren; mother, Lora Beaver of McKinney; as well as several nieces and nephews.
