McKINNEY – Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Harris-Horn Funeral Chapel here for James Monroe Hamm, 64, of McKinney, who died in the Veterans Hospital in Dallas.
The Rev. Earl Rogers, minister of the Full Gospel Church conducted the services. Burial was in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Hamm was born Nov. 17, 1898, the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Hamm. On April 22, 1923, he married Miss Georgia Duggan. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Gregory of Chickasha, Okla., Mrs. Evelyn Arwood of Norton, Va., and Mrs. Joy Short of McKinney; a half-brother Andrew Grissom of McKinney and 10 grandchildren.
