F. W. (Mike) McGarrah
Services for Mr. F. W. (Mike) McGarrah, 61, of Lake Dallas, who died Tuesday at his residence, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with the Rev. Troy Corzine officiating. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
Mr. McGarrah was born on Jan. 8, 1932 in McKinney, the son of Clarence and Mary J. Striplin McGarrah. He married Carol JoAnn Landeck on Dec. 2, 1988 in Denton. He worked in collections and was a veteran of Korea in the U. S. Marines.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jo McGarrah of Lake Dallas; two daughters, Dawn McGarrah Bennett of Denton and Karen McGarrah Pliskal of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Ryan Bennett, Jessica Bennett and Kilian Bennett, all of Denton; two brothers, Vernon McGarrah of Dallas and Jack McGarrah of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; and his sister, Lou Rackley of Irving.
Visitation will be from 7:30 to 9 tonight..
