Funeral services for James Riley (Jim) Haney, 65, of 903 Woodleigh in McKinney, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Turrentine-Jackson Chapel, Rev. Bailey Stone officiating, with burial in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Haney died at his home about 5 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Haney was a barber at the Palace Barber Shop and had lived in Collin County for many years. He was born Aug. 10, 1900, the son of Marshall and Louella Pressley Haney.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was married to Mabel Holbert on May 20, 1923.
Survivors are his wife, a son, James L. Haney of Tennessee; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Dodson of Royse City; three grandchildren; four brothers, I. J. Haney of Washington, Jackson Haney of California, Luther Haney of Princeton and Stine Haney of McKinney; a sister, Mrs. Alton May of Farmersville.
