Letter. .... My mother’s paternal grandparents came from South Carolina after 1850 and settled in Collin County. Her grandfather’s name was James Turpin Kelley. He traveled with David and Lucinda Murphree and he married their daughter, Elizabeth Ann during the trip. An article about David and Lucinda Murphree is on file at the Old Village Museum in Denison. |
