A LEBANON WEDDING
A. B. KIRLEY AND MISS IDA WADE JOINED IN WEDLOCK
McKinney Democrat, December 24, 1903
Mr. A. B. Kirley and Miss Ida Wade were married Thursday at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wade at Lebanon, in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Promptly at 7 o’clock the bride and groom marched into the beautiful decorated parlor and took their stand before Rev. M. T. Tucker, pastor of the Lebanon Baptist Church, who in a beautiful ceremony spoke the words that made them one. After which congratulations were showered upon them, then the way was lead to the dining room where an elegant wedding supper was served.
The groom is a young man of high moral and social standing, being raised in that community, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Kirley, residing there for many years.
The bride is an excellent young lady possessing intellect, culture and modesty, and is all that could be desired in an ideal wife.
