Grady Mills
Funeral services for Grady Mills, 86, of McKinney, who died Tuesday at HCA Wysong Memorial Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with the Revs. Hubert Long and Al Draper officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services. Mills was born May 31, 1900 in Collin County, the son of Albert P. Mills and Clara Baker Mills and married Cleo Moore, Aug. 28, 1921 in Celina. He was a retired farmer and also served as a constable for 17 years. Survivors include two sons: Bill Ray Mills of Wylie, Leon Mills of Princeton; three daughters, Edith Keller and Inez Phelan, both of McKinney , Susie Coffey of Bonham; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 tonight. |
Leona Mills
Funeral services for Leona Pauline Miller [sic], 87, of Quitman, who died Wednesday at Village Manor Nursing Home, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pike Baptist Church. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery with Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. She was born Oct. 18,, 1902 in Floresville, the daughter of Tollie and Jessie Clayton Pryor. She married Jessie Willard Mills Nov. 22, 1924 in Leonard. She was a member of Pike Baptist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Jessie A. Lockridge of Fate, Texas; four sons, Troy Lee Mills and Wendell Mills, both of Yantis; Edwin Mills of Blue Ridge; and Eugene Mills of Wills Point; two sisters, Ina may of Dallas and Juanita Clem of Sweetwater, a brother Roland Pryor of Royse City; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home in Blue Ridge. |
