Funeral services for Grady Jenkins, 76, of McKinney, who died Thursday at HCA Wysong Medical Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Leighton Bearden officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services.
Jenkins was born Jan. 31, 1911 in Collin County, the son of J. R. Jenkins and Evaline McCalister, and married Myrtle L. Jackson, Aug. 23, 1931.
He was a farmer and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle L. Jenkins of McKinney; two daughters: Sue Martin of Denton and Sara Tinsley of McKinney; two sons-in-law: Jay Bill Martin of Denton and Eddie Tinsley of McKinney; three brothers: Leonard Jenkins of Houston, Joe Jenkins of McKinney, Raymond Jenkins of Lavon; three grandchildren: Jay Lynn Martin of Denton, Shelley and Casey Tinsley, both of McKinney; as well as a number of other relatives.
